One Dead, One Unstable After Baltimore Shooting, Police Say

One man person is dead and a woman is desperately fighting for her life after a shooting in Baltimore over the weekend.

A 32-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman - whose names have not been released - were found suffering from gunshot wounds in the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue around 4:30 p.m., Sunday, March 12, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Upon arrival at the scene, police first located the female victim, who had been shot in the head. A short time later, the 32-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. 

Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where the 32-year-old man succumbed to his injuries. The female victim's condition has since worsened, being listed as unstable critical.

Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking anyone with additional information to contact police at 410-396-2100.
